Frame

Frame is a radio directory for listeners who arrive for a familiar opening theme and stay to discover new voices and melodies.

Anison brings together songs associated with animated works, but it does not describe just one sound. Pop, rock, electronic music and orchestral colours all have a place. A familiar story on screen can be the starting point for a musical interest of its own.

Our journal invites you to listen to form, timbre and arrangement: compare a short screen edit with a full-length song, follow the voice and notice recurring themes in a soundtrack.

The directory features independent radio stations, each with its own programming. Visit the broadcaster’s official website to look for a playlist. For details of a song, performer or release, also consult the publisher or the project’s own website.

How the selection works

We group stations by musical style and publish articles to help you hear more. Each station links to an official source; the broadcaster determines its programmes and schedule.
